Rooms

The Home is a large historic grade 2 listed building, run in "cottage hospital" style with rooms for multiple occupancy, double rooms and single rooms. Rooms vary in shape and size and new residents can select the room of their choice from those available and suitable for their needs.

Planning consent has been obtained to redevelop the site to meet modern expectations and environmental standards.

Lounges

On each floor there is an attractive and comfortable open plan lounge and dining room, with more than one television set for the residents to use. On the ground floor we have a lovely conservatory overlooking beautiful views of the gardens and the river Thames, where you can read, talk with other residents and spend time privately with visitors. There is also a designated area for those who wish to smoke.

Lift

A lift provides access to each nursing floor. There is also a stair lift on the first floor.

Laundry

All laundry is carried out on the premises.

Bathing facilities

The Home has specialist baths and showers and staff is on hand to help if a resident need assistance, making bathing a pleasurable and safe activity.

Food

All home cooked meals are served in the dining areas, or if preferred in one's room. There is always a choice at every meal, with a different roast every Sunday. The menu choice changes on a 4 weekly basis. Special diets are also catered for.
